Lovely walk. Car park was full so parked in Lanchester and walked along then back by the river. When restrictions lift and weather improves it'll be lovely to take grandson and have a picnic. Most people moved over into single file so you could pass safely, but cyclists obviously think it's there track and rode double breasted...very annoying.

Great place to escape to for fresh air!
Good place for a picnic, bike ride or dog walk. Our dog loves the river we love the walks. Can get busy at times but theres plenty of space for social distancing.
Nice picnic area just outside of Lanchester. We had a nice walk and the children played in the river. We had been tipped off so had a change of clothes and some sandals for the children to wear in the river. Shame on the dog walkers not picking up after their ‘mans best friend’. Watch where you put your feet.
