I couldn't recommend Wade opticians in Saddler Street, Durham, more highly. From the very warm welcome provided by staff - the patient, unhurried pre examination testing undertaken by Margaret - to the careful explanations at the end of the examination provided by Jo, from start to finish, the whole appointment was the best experience I have had at any opticians (and there have been many! Most importantly, this practice, situated in the heart of Durham City centre, offers exceptional examinations from one of the most experienced optometrists in the field of eye medicine. Alistair Wade provides an examination second to none. He is patient, reassuring, amusing extremely thorough and unhurried. An expert in his field. Every part of the process was explained carefully. Such a lovely, caring practice with extremely kind and friendly staff.
