I went with a work friend yesterday, so honest review there were a few bad points: The tables at the back left hand side towards the play area were back to back, as in, touching back to back. I'm not sure if the restaurant was overbooked. The customers sat there did not complain, at the best of times this would have been a squeeze but the rest of the restaurant was socially distanced perfectly otherwise, including our table. I don't think I would have been as happy if I was sat on that table! Not a negative at all, but your staff were incredible last night. However they were clearly stressed, overstretched but they worked really hard. They were a total credit to you though but I worried about the impact the current set up had on them. It wasn't perfect but that aside, it was still 5 star. Meal was cooked perfectly, staff could not do enough in what was clearly a very trying day for them. Everyone was helpful, and did what was clearly their very best. I think your tables in that area do need a little tweaking and review, and your staff need a bonus for coping so well under pressure. I've booked again for next week, so look forward to returning ️

Much improved since taken over by Hungry Horse. Had a small refit recently and it's now a nicer pub, restaurant. Decent food and the special offers on 2 meals are priced well. Great selection of ice creams too.
Brilliant value on food and fantastic staff what more do you want. Chloe and all the staff were very polite, Well done to all the team for the lovely food, and great service. Keep up the good work guys x
So we got given mash potatoes instead of hash browns as a requested breakfast extra They were quick enough to correct this when it was pointed out... I went for the breakfast burrito which was awesome and I'd certainly recommend

Had food here the other day it was great, greeted at the door by sue, she was great, took our order , brought our food, gave us a check back aswell. Very impressed

In the current climate was pretty good. All the covid rules were followed, it was very quiet and not many people in there. Obviously that has an effect on the atmosphere. The food was ok but not nothing spectacular, understaffed seem to know exactly what they were doing. Let's hope it survives the latest lockdown, and that things get back to normal soon because it's pretty good pub otherwise
