Plain, simple, well kept station. New, so don't expect Victorian buildings. The original high level station is long gone. This was built as a terminus and interconnecting means with the main line towards London. Good disabled access and a toilet on the platform. Tucked away just beyond the exit is an old railway coach for drinks and hot/cold snacks, run by railway volunteers. It's warm, friendly, comfy seating welcomes you to stayawile waiting for your train. Good choice of second hand books for a donation and some small souvenirs for sale. Easy access and toilets next door.
Nice well kept station at the start of the bluebell railway. Cafe and toilets available too.
Useful interchange between the national network and the heritage line, watch out for getting there on non operational days, or better to look up heritage operations of steam railway to make a through day out.
Train wasn't fast enough but a lovely ride.
Great place to bring the family before everyone forgets about steam power!
Nothing here and difficult to find. Did not go on the platform. Beware they may charge as they do at there other stations for a platform ticket.
