At the age of 82 my eyesight was failing and computer work was near impossible. Due to long NHS waiting lists I elected to have operations to remove cataracts and two stent implants for treatment of Glaucoma. The results have been truly astonishing. Now, at the age of 84, I can read without spectacles and work without eyestrain on computers. I continue to be under the watchful eye of Dr. Ratnarajan and can recommend him without any reservations.

To anyone with an eye problem. Early August had a consultation with Mr Gok Ratnarajan who diagnosed my only eye had cataract and ‘moderately advanced’ glaucoma. Mid September he replaced the lens for cataract and inserted two stints for glaucoma. The operation went well, and after a few weeks of lightly cloudy vision, I now have good eyesight. The nursing team at the Mcindoe Centre were excellent, and Sally’s knowledge and efficiency at organizing everything was helpfully delightful. Mr Gok Ratnarajan’s excellent communication, pioneering, and surgical skills were very reassuring, along with a an authentic warmth and kindness, made it a pleasure to be his patient. I am so grateful to him for what he has done. I would recommend The Innovation Eye Clinic to anyone with an eyesight concern.

I found myself having to have both cataracts removed fairly quickly. I am an anxious person but found Mr Ratnarajan and his team most reassuring and informative throughout the process. I had one eye done followed by the other two weeks later. It was a relatively short, painless procedure and the results are worth it. One doesn’t realise how one’s sight is changing over a period of time and to be able to have such crisp and colourful vision again is wonderful. Can recommend Mr Ratnarajan and The McIndoe Centre.
