Went into Eastbourne by trin for the first time in months. Station was clean, both eateries were open. Staff we very friendly and welcoming, even the ticket collector. A few seats in main hub of the station, so you can sit and drink a coffee or tea rather than standing. Bellas Cafe well worth a visit.

Just like any other mainline station, serving the coastal town of Eastbourne. It has a range of services available on the concorse.

This us a review of the station, not the train services and is prior to an imminent redevelopment. Bright airy Victorian style with additions. Useful selection of food and drink, even a hairdressers. Toilets are free but situated on the train side of the barriers, but staff are understanding. Once through the barriers all platforms are easily accessible and on the same level. Mostly under cover, but limited seating.

Lovely Victorian building, the and amnesties are rather reasonable, there’s a good choice of coffee and food. Equally there is a good number of ticket station machines and a four or five ticket offices, although these are often not fully staffed and the queues can get quite long. This is where the decent number of ticket machines comes into saving grace. Not a station that delays your journey.

Great location. The station has been upgraded. The toilets are now behind the ticket barrier so you can use only if you are a train user. So they are clean and spacious. As the toilets are behind the ticket barrier no public can use it can be negative as you can not use the toilets unless you have a ticket. Overall the station is bright airy. Once new shopping centre is open the station will be very busy. Lots of construction work making a new entrance to car park.

Having used this station everyday for a number of years you begin to realise what a privilege it is. With a first class waiting area and facilities that are easily accessed it is a fine station. Taxis are easily available from the stations front and a pick up point is round the side. Staff will help with almost any problem and it feels secure even on the last train.

Small and efficient station only 15 minutes distance from the pier. Here you can find direct trains to London and good connections to Brighton. Nice and polite staff.

Nice small and clean station. Train arrivals and departures clearly visible. Efficient and friendly service at the ticket counter.
