The hidden jewel of Eastbourne. Honestly if I could give this place more than five stars I would. Went with my husband and the food is so good and so authentic it feels like your in Morocco. I've been to morroco and this place doesn't get enough credit for the quality of the food. The staff are amazing, the atmosphere is lovely and couldn't fault one single thing.
Super friendly place, the waiters are very kind, the owner brought as free shots after the meal. The lunch set menu is amazing. The calamari is to kill for and the seabass... Waaao. I would recommend it to everyone.
So tasty! Visiting from the US, I was missing mexican food badly. We came across this place and decided to give it a try. So glad we did! All of us were so impressed with our meals and it had the kick I was craving. So many menu options including many vegetarian options which is a plus for me. The man who served us, who I believe is also the owner was amazing. Such good service and he was so fun in his interactions with my 2 year old niece! Definitely made us feel very welcome! Loved this place.
I was told that this restaurant was amazing and when I went to Eastbourne I decided to give it a try. The restaurant serves Mexican, Moroccan and Spanish food. I only tried the Spanish food, so this review will cover only the Spanish food. As a Spaniard, the food I tried was average. I know it is a bit hard to copy the flavours, but I felt a bit disappointed. Spanish omelette was a bit dry, the meatballs were OK and the calamari were OK. Probably the best dish was the Goat cheese salad. I also know that probably for non-spanish people, food will be delicious. The portions are slightly smaller than usual for the price you pay. I need to say that the owner is really friendly and he cares about his customers. He invited us for a couple of drinks.
