Eat Well MCR is a collective, pooling our skills and resources to create and distribute food to homeless people, to people experiencing food poverty, to women seeking refuge, and to frontline NHS workers putting their lives at risk to protect the public. We’re delighted to count some of Manchester’s best-loved food and drink businesses as members of the collective. These include Cloudwater Brew Co., Taste of Honey, Honest Crust, Hispi Bistro, Baratxuri, Erst, and Beehive Foods. As you’re doubtless aware, this is a critical and challenging moment in our city’s proud history. The above businesses have chosen to rise to the occasion, putting purpose before profit to give back to the people of Manchester. Food distributed by Eat Well MCR does more than simply stave off hunger. Made from the highest quality ingredients, prepared with skill by industry-leading chefs, these meals offer much-needed care to people experiencing real stress and hardship during the current crisis. The number of meals produced by Eat Well MCR produces is rising, and rapidly. During the first week of May alone, our collective prepared and delivered more than 1,800 meals across Greater Manchester. We could really, really do with your support to reach even more people in need.
