After tailing and minor adjustments, their suits just fit me perfectly. I would also like to bid my special thanks to the store manager, Mr Andrea Rullo, without whose patient help, I can never find such beautiful suits. Looking forward to visiting this shop again.

I was looking for a three piece suit for business meetings. I have bought from many different brands and was dissatisfied with the fit, service and overall life span. They all look like brooks brothers, joe banks and evans manswearhouse. I had heard a great deal about E&R but I live in the USA making it difficult to visit. I was travelling to a seminar at Dan Peña's castle in Scotland and so I decided to take a trip to see Lodge No.1 and to see if the rumours of the prestigious tailors established in 1689 were true. They cater to the royal family and tailor for some of the most affluent people in the world, so i had high expectations. Firstly the service was incredible. During this sensitive time I was greeted with the utter most professionalism by a younger gentleman Mr. McLeod (I think he is the manager) who was pretty much running the store solo. His knowledge was so vast and gave me exceptional advice. I bought two suits and wore them to the seminar and was incredibly happy. I am so confident in Mr. McLeod I have purchased 3 personally tailored suits to achieve a particular look. We did this all through WhatsApp video call and I am so excited to see the finished product. I have now purchased 5 in total instead of the 1 trial suit, oops! Couldn't recommend E&R Edinburgh/ McLeod enough.
I felt a little intimidated by the features of the shop, old fashioned posh and with no music in there. But with the help of Andreas and Connor, hopefully I got the names right, I found a nice jacket at a very good price. thank you guys
I feel compelled to write here that the store manager Andreas went above and beyond from my initial enquiry through to taking my suit home. His attention to detail and depth of knowledge made the whole experience an absolute pleasure. I cannot recommend his service enough
After booking my outfit for graduation I wanted to book photography but the website Did not let me I tried various times and then resorted into ringing them every time I would it ring and nobody would pick up or id be in a que.. my emails took forever to get response consequently I didn’t get to take pro pictures for graduation... will have to wait for my masters
Whilst no stranger to the Ede & Ravenscroft name (London and Oxford locations) for quality clothing I had the pleasure of recently visiting their Edinburgh shop. Prior to my visit I had made contact with the store’s Manager, Andrea Rullo re a particular garment that was illustrated on their website. Several warm emails were exchanged (sizing, fit questions, this/that, etc) – by the time I arrived several weeks later I felt as though I was visiting an old friend. My purchase ‘experience’ with Mr Rullo and the Edinburgh shop again reminds one that superior service and attention to detail does exist. I look forward to a return visit to the shop and to one of my favourite cities.
The most beautiful menswear shop in Edinburgh. Fantastic suits and blazers and such a friendly team. I loved the plenty of antiques they use as decorations: the long case clock is to die for!
