I went to Shurgard 250 Burnt Oak Edgware to take a 10ft squre space for only three weeks time needed. I paid the 39.99 start fee. I had my own lock and key which i told the staff serving me that, but after looking at my email receipt, I notised that I was still charged for one which I was not given anyway. No refunds to that was given. I had my goods in for three weeks and when they took money from my account on the 1st if Feb 2019, I called to ask why the 111 taken?, I Thought my next payment was in four weeks time form the date I took the storage space. They said payment comes out every first of the month, Meaning if you went for a storage on the 29th of say January, and come 1st of Feb 2019, you will pay the full amount of the storage space taken. okay, I said to them I will be taking my items out tomorrow If i can have the rest of my moeny back. They said I have to give a 15 day notice if I need to do that. wow, okay! so I there and then on the phone asked to cancle my account to begin my 15 days notice. which after the 15day that i dont need the room, I will still be charged and my remaining money will then be refunded to my account. I find this to be a bad way of taking peoples money even if they dont need the long 15 days to get thier goods out. Big Yello Self storage was my first self storage company used and the day i went there to say I was taking my goods out? they straigt away went to check if all my goods were taken and then after the same day, Closed my account , Stoped any direct payment to my Bank account and refunded me my remainng money of 76.21. I need not to give any 15 days Notice period which i was to pay for those days and then my money remaining given after.

easy and stress free! i couldn't go into office because of lockdown but they made it very easy to complete paperwork. the manager was very helpful. 5*
