Brooke and her staff provide a kind, friendly service for all. I have been delighted with every purchase made from her shop, whether in-person or online. The shop itself is a must-visit for its sheer beauty, and you won't be able to resist leaving without a gorgeous candle or two! On the shop floor, there is often the opportunity to have tarot or palm reading from brilliant readers, which adds a special touch. Online, Brooke is one of the most helpful sellers I have purchased from. She is patient and gives amazing advice! In addition to selling the most beautiful products, Brooke also produces Natal Charts packed with information. The thought of visiting this shop when we return to normality is so, so exciting! In the meantime, I encourage all to support this amazing business however they can!

Beautiful shop with awesome candles and really helpful staff, helped me get a tarot deck and pointed me in the direction of the best book to accompany it. Even though they were out of stock wrote it down for me to get elsewhere.
Lovely, website, lovely products, lovely wrapping (I know it's just a little thing, but it was so lovely to get such a beautifully wrapped parcel, it was like Christmas) brilliant customer service, very impressed, completely understand closing temporarily to manage things and also the good communication about it. I will be spending more money, and hopefully visiting when we're allowed out again!
Beautiful litle shop and it is wonderful that there is now someone.making and selling candles on Candlemaker Row. . Some fascinating witchcraft items and books and esoteria also for sale. The candles are exquisitely scented and last for ages and are beautifully presented. Courses ars also available in things such as tarot and herbology. Just magical.
This little shop is a delight. The range of handmade candles is excellent, so much so you are spoilt for choice. The owner is welcoming, helpful and full of knowledge. A tarot reader was giving a reading when I was in yesterday and it just added to the buzz and atmosphere. Well done on creating such a lovely space.
I'm no witch, but I am a big fan of independent businesses and try to support them whenever I can. The effort that has gone into assembling such a range of interesting items and presenting them beautifully is plain to see. In particular, the hand-crafted scented candles and wax melts (packaged in compostable corn starch bags) are a highlight. They are displayed in bell-jars to allow you to enjoy the many intoxicating aromas as they will infuse your home. Just two chunks of the wax melts has kept my place smelling sublime all weekend, so they last well too. Well worth a visit.
Edinburgh is quite conservative in its offerings and Black Moon Botanica is such a wonderful addition to the city. It's wrong to try and compare this store to another in another city as for Edinburgh it's unique and helping to welcome some of the historic magic back. Brooke, the owner, is a wealth of information, her candles are all hand poured and scented - which are just wonderful! If you're looking for something slightly unusual then the crystal candles or skull melts are a must!
This is a precious little gem of a shop. It’s beautiful and wonderfully homely. The owner is a wonderful lady, helpful and charming. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
