Really nice Italian cafe. Nice food and delicious cakes, all at good prices. Also serves wine and beer.

Local friend suggested this cafe for lunch and I was very happy he did. Relaxing atmosphere with unhurried pace. Soup of the day was very good. The panini my wife had was fresh and tasty. The salmon and shrimp were very good as was the various coffees we had to finish our meals. Looking forward to going back and highly recommend.

Absolutely love this Sicilian cafe. Best soups ever. House red a cheeky little Sicilian red. Off the beaten track but absolutely worth it. Staff are so friendly.

A lovely little cafe that is worth a visit for some lunch after a walk along the Water of Leith. They have a nice selection of antipasti, paninis and cakes. If you order a beer or wine you get a tasty dish of olives and salami to accompany your drink. It's not always a given that you'll get a seat due to the popularity and size of the cafe. However, I think they might be expanding into the adjacent shop space, so that will increase your chances of a seat. In any case you can always book in advance or take away some cakes. The staff are very friendly too!

This is a genuine find of a cafe; wonderful service relaxed atmosphere and delicious food. The coffee is superb, breakfast scrambled egg perfectly seasoned, tomatoes and all their specials, lunches, soups biscuits and cakes are fabulous. The almond cookies and tiramisu are a great treat. I have always been delighted with a meal or coffee here.

Discovered this wonderful cafe quite by accident. Lovely Italian food, very reasonable prices and genuinely friendly service. I will definitely be back!

Average cafe but I do appreciate the interesting menu. Some great stuff here. Service slow but that's as everything is made fresh so I'd rather wait. Small place but has a few chairs outside front.

Lovely café which unfortunately seems to be under refurbishment at the moment. Went there twice in the last few months just to find it closed. When will it be open again?
