The moment I stepped into my room I felt great! Going to study abroad is a big deal and especially during a global pandemic. Having such a nice studio with an amazing view made me feel good and home during the self-isolation. The location is perfect, not near the Uni but a perfect walking distance and beautiful too! David, Lindsay and Brian made me feel welcome and helped me with many queries. They came up with activities during these weird times where you can win some cool stuff! Unfortunately, the gym was not always open due to the restrictions. I think the price quality ratio is okay.

Really nice, spacious studios with excellent heating, tap water is sufficiently warm and the water in the shower becomes hot instantly. The place was well cleaned when I first moved in and the hallways and common area are kept clean as well. Lots of storage space with beautiful full-length windows, so the room is always brightly lit. The team tries their best to arrange virtual social activities even in these trying times, and the staff are very friendly and helpful as well. All in all a great experience, would highly recommend renting from them!
Overpriced, not worth the money. They clearly take advantage of international students. The mattress is terrible, I had to buy a topper. If your room is near the court yard it will be very loud at night. The room was not clean when I moved in, hair everywhere. While I put effort into cleaning when I left.. they still took a cleaning charge out my deposit. So they don’t even use that money to actually clean the rooms professionally before the next round of students move in. Don’t bother cleaning when you leave. To be fair, the building and rooms are new so it is quite modern. Social aspect depends on you, they don’t do much for you to meet people. I think there was 1 event in the beginning. The location is not terrible but its not great either, more reason for it being overpriced. I would not recommend, just a waste of money. You can find better value elsewhere.
For double-room, the room is a little limited and because of the strange layout, it cannot let the fresh air deep in the room so that it is a little wet. Dwellers usually have parties in the common room till midnight, they like to talk and laugh in the yard very loudly, I cannot fall asleep. I don’t know whether the water or the bed pad or something else in the room may have acarid, since I have skin problems on my scalp that it itches, has red pimples, and lost its hair terribly in last 10 months. But anyway, the staff is nice and is willing to help us all the time. I appreciate my time in Edinburgh : )
Stayed here for 10 months. The accommodation manager Bruno is snobbish and rude and likes to take everything very personally and does not understand the pains involved in international travel & transactions. Found him to be very unaccommodating and trivial. Did not give a clean room in fact was very dirty but they expect you to clean it for them when you move out. The cleaning charges are disproportionate for such a small room & they don’t clean a lot anyways. The overall room is very small. The kitchen space is not enough to cook & it will be a mess once you do it. You will get an apartment in a lower price in the surrounding area with a larger area. Avoid this ‘con’pany, there are other student accommodations in the area and are much better and inexpensive. Not value for money & unfriendly manager. Hats off to other members of the staff, they are well behaved. And helpful but unfortunately can’t do enough because of the manager.
