I was a member many years ago when the gym first opened. I left and went elsewhere however I’ve recently rejoined. What a difference! The club has had a large upgrade on Décor and equipment. There are many great classes which have various times during the day and evening. The studios and gym area upstairs is amazing with an abundance of top of the range equipment. There are more staff around who have T-shirt’s which make it easy to identify them, if help is needed. The locker rooms are laid out much better and generally kept a lot cleaner. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was the outdoor pool it looks a little neglected. The bottom of the pool looks like it needs refurbished. Also is there no other system we could use to exit the gym? The machine we need to use to leave the gym is slightly irritating. All in all I was pleasantly surprised when I rejoined. The staff have a whole different attitude/approach to the members, which can only be a positive thing.

My best gym ever. Very friendly staff. Great swimming and tennis facilities. The swimming pool water does not irritate the eyes unlike in some other public places. A huge and appropriately hot sauna by Edinburgh standards. The restaurant is a great place to have a get together or just to watch a sports channel. Will come back when I can.
