The service was friendly and warm and the food was delicious. We both had the starter of prawns in an unusual creamy almond sauce. Beautiful cocktails and one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. Took two puddings away as had no space and enjoyed them thoroughly later that evening. Can not fault the service in any possible way. It was perfect.

The service was amazing and first, very helpful and friendly staff. Secondly, the food was perfect! I had mussels and beef stew which were so delightful! They were more than happy to let us take our time. We were on a city break but will definitely go back when I visit Edinburgh again.
This was our second visit to Le Bistrot and we loved it. The service was impressive and friendly. We chose from the set menu which was great value, and we weren’t disappointed - both starters and both mains were delicious, and the meal was finished off perfectly with a slice of apple tart. Best meal within a reasonable price. Very satisfied with the service and recommend it to others.
We really enjoyed, food is amazing! Really tasty, good portions and really good service. Just a little bit disappointed with the waiter because he started to clean the table when one of us was still eating, not too polite.
