Sorry, but LNER in choosing to decimate their food and beverage offerings on their trains AND in this lounge have gone too far. The lounge and trains were clean...no problem there, but that's it.

Its a pleasant enough 1st class waiting room and with all the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh Waverley station it offers some much needed peace whilst you wait for your train. But a little more variety.of refreshment would be nice. Ihave always found the staff at this station most helpful both in and out on the platforms. Well Done to everyone. Les from London.

Best service going south from Edinburgh. Trains are clean, fast and reliable. Staff are always pleasant any time Ive travelled with them. Only negative is costs of on board snacks and beverages. They could easily cut the cost and still make a profit. 1.80 for a small bottle of coke.

Welcome retreat during three hour delay. Seems more limited than airport lounges and the food and drink options were a bit limited. But glad to have found it.
