submitted enough evidence of events that took place they said that they believed what I had told them but they could not take it any further as it was more than several years ago that it happened! It took me that length of time to be brave enough to come forward. The procedures in place have to be reviewed to give a more fair service.

Really terrible. Good to read recent reviews, public are waking up to what kind of country we are currently living in. They're just a buffer for civil service complaints, they don't act on anything even when you have indisputable proof. They turn a blind eye. The Council can also submit complaints to the SPSO, in fact make up a large portion of the complaints submitted. Here's some photos of my bedroom door, the runner of the temp B & B admitted could be opened with a credit card. The SPSO investigated and found nothing wrong with them, and the doors to be in a working serviced condition. Will upload the letter of response as well soon

Had equipment stolen by a council employee. His story was that I gave it to him as a Christmas present. I did not even know the guys name but as I had no documentary proof that I did not give it to him as a Christmas present the local council found in his favour. After reading the reviews on SPSO I have decided not to refer it to them and in future protect my stuff with extreme violence if neccesary and claim Santa Claus did it.

Guys, I had my biggest problems with GP's and I took it to the ombudsman. This firm just ignored everything I have said to them. University researches, proofs that can be accepted on the gov medical websites I sent them all and yet, there wasn't a result. The reviews being made by reviewers in the Public Services rather than ombudsman herself or himself. My suggestion is to request Expert Witness report for the cases and reviewers will have no power to ignore it. They can decline however it does not mean that you can't take your complaint further. If they still ignore to call an expert witness, don't forget this can actually return them badly. So look for your rights, don't feel disappointed with the first outcome and go for it.
