Good Mexican tapas style restaurant. Staff friendly, service is quick, plates come out at a timely manner. Good Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan choices. Only problem was my husband and me hate black beans and both our beef and pork tacos had black bean paste which isn't mentioned in the meal description, this should be mentioned as it ruined our meal as we had to open our tacos to take it out and my gluten free chorizo nachos were cold. Chicken tacos were fine though.

No wait. Great service. Clear about rules around covid. Really tasty food. We left full. Drinks OK but over priced for a bit of watery juice, would have just had water if I'd known.
Decided to order some nachos for the game but I have an allergy to avocado, so immediately after ordering on deliveroo, I called the restaurant to ask if they could leave the avocado off. The woman on the phone, who turned out the be the manager, point blank refused to cater for my allergy requirements. We offered our order number and other details to make it easier for her, she still refused. I asked her was there a problem with asking the chef to cater for allergy requirements, she couldn't give me an answer nor could she give me an answer when I asked how she usually catered for allergy requirements. Utterly embarrassing! She told us to contact deliveroo, we did, who then got in contact with Wahacu, who then said we can't cancel the order as the dish was already made. So she knowingly let the food be prepared without communicating the allergy needs. Deliveroo were baffled (like ourselves) as to why they wouldn't cater for ALLERGY NEEDS and offered us a full refund. A simple conversation with the chef would have solved this all. If there was a zero star rating option I would give this restaurant it. Completely unacceptable to disregard peoples health needs and frankly, EMBARRASSING.
Great place, great food, great service. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The restraunt has a very nice interior and is big enough to safely accommodate alot of people even with the tables being spread out. As well as the food being amazing, I would definitely recommend this place for tapas or they also do bigger portions if your a bit more peckish.
A blast of hot air greets you when you enter the restaurant which is largely unwelcome or necessary, however the space is large enough for large groups or a more intimate setting, the service is well organized with the waiter asking if you had been before, happy to recommend the various options and asks for dietary info my friend is vegan and gluten free so appreciated this, the food is fresh and comes in a timely manner portions are small but they warn you of this and urge you to try two or three dishes, the drinks are overpriced but you can register to the Wahaca quick pay app so you can settle up the bill before you eat this is a nice touch.
