Excellent service this afternoon. I took in an item of jewellery to be polished; the lady serving was very accommodating and agree my ring could be dealt with tomorrow, despite the workshop being extra busy as the goldsmith was about to go on holiday. Then, after inspecting my ring, the lady suggested there might not in fact be a lot to be gained from an intensive clean and polish (at a cost of 20) and explained that it would be better avoided for a vintage ring due to the metal loss during the process. She instead gave my ring a polish by hand while I waited using some specialist jewellery wipes - these did an amazing job and I was very happy with the finish. No charge was made for this, although I bought a pack of the wipes! Will be returning here soon.

I would give 6 stars if it were available. The service I received from Suzanne was outstanding. For Christmas I was given a pair of one carat diamond stud earrings. I have very small ear lobes and the diamonds hung down and hurt my ears. After much research I decided to have them reset from a 'basket' setting into something which set back in my ears. I visited many Jewellers in Cambridge who couldn't help and was recommended Cellini Jewellers, Cambridge who told me it couldn't be done or, at least if it were I could not justify the price. I stumbled upon Page Fine Jewellery , Ely and spoke to Suzanne who finally knew exactly what I needed for my beautiful earrings. A 'Martini' setting she informed me is what you need. She showed me her own earrings and said 'I know exactly what you mean.' I had the work done at one third of the price quoted to me in Cambridge. I am delighted and they are so comfortable with more sparkle in their new setting!! Top marks Page Jewellers of Ely.
