Applied for a visa online but the instructions are very poor. I had to call up and listen to an automated message for instructions. I then went to the consulate and was told that I had to apply for an E Visa only and I couldn't get it at the consulate. I checked online again and it doesn't give good information on how to do it.

Website has misleading info. The application form for it is in a completely different place, you need to call and listen to an automated message to find out where to find the form. The staff in the actual embassy is rude and incompetent, provide conflicting information.
The worst customer service ever by a frensh guy called himself git or something. Not sure if he gave me the right details!! He complained about the embassy and they are awful and useless and he is planning on leaving them . He even advised me not to bother visiting OMAN. Why u hire someone whom is awful at customer service . Clearly the man is not happy being there . He put me off visiting the country. No thanks I’m going somewhere else ! Already he ruined the country reputation doing that . He is destroying OMAN image in Uk . Not wasting my money going there !!! Waste of time even calling them . Hardly anyone picks up as I been calling for days and he picks up after days to moan and complain about his life !!! What on earth is going on !!!! I’m speechless!! All the bad reviews are true ! Not even a star !!
