I like the riverbank there and DCB is a nice feature in the scenery. Great place for a night walk or run as nobody's there although keep in mind you cannot get back to the streets for miles.

Nice discovery, empty cycle from crayford to the Dartford barrier, spotted a kestrel (or something similar), a heron and good views
Loved the walk along Dartford creek to the barrier. Then you get to see the Thames. Several ships past while we picnicked sitting on the steps of the barrier. Fun cycle too
Brilliant ride but it was wet and muddy but very enjoyable
I have learnt about Creek Barrier during the lockdown. I love my joggs towards the barrier and the walk by Thames. I love to photograph it as well. Seen from diffrent points in Dartford
Ruined by poor protection from antisocial use of scramblers and quad bikes. Proximity to shooting range means your likely to be hit by stray shot. Dartford Council must do better to make this area more suitable for families, walkers and cyclists.
Interesting information about the Flood Defence System based in Dartford
This is a very nice place where Dartford Creek (Darent River) meets Thames River. There is a nice walk along the Thames.
