I purchased a car before Christmas, it was agreed the the marks dint's would be removed!! my husband collected the car and we went on Holiday, on my return i looked and the car and the marks / dint's were still there. I called up and spoke to Byron who sold the car to me, he couldn't under stand why it had nor been done. he check the service sheet and it said they couldn't reach them so they didn't do them. I ask what they where going to do about it an why hadn't someone said anything and he said his manager would call me that night after 4pm. This was a week ago and still no call. would i recommend this company HELL NO. stay well clear.....

I have been calling Evans Halshaw Dewsbury Branch for over 2 days. However, after going through an extensive yet Futile Automated Answering Service, I have STILL NOT been able to speak to anyone from the Parts Department. It is SHAMBOLIC & DISGUSTING that a National Company such as Evans Halshaw, treat customers in this way. I have left my Telephone number to 3 separate people in the SALES Dept BUT, Not one person has taken the time to call me back as to this day. As Comical as these people are, I live and was enquiring at the Dewsbury Branch, and yet I was transfered to CARDIFF Vauxhall. ABSOLUTELY JOKE and will NEVER use this Dealer again !!!
Miserable service department staff who are the worst I’ve ever seen, had a look about the showroom and nobody bothered talking to me, I was looking to buy a new small car for my partner so that was a waste of time and a couple of weeks later eventually bought her a fiat 500 (she absolutely loves it ) Evans Halshaw seem to have a company wide negative staff attitude because their Ford showroom just up the road is nearly as bad! Terrible customer parking as a real struggle to find somewhere to park ther!
Started of well until recently. Unfortunately there work shop can't balance wheel meaning I have had to make a 60 mile round trip to get another Evans Halshaw to do it. I am still also waiting on my finance agreement to be settled as there currently selling my old car with any outstanding finance agreement against it. What's taking the Mick is all the promised call backs. I have now sent in a formal complaint to head office and an waiting on a response. Unfortunately what could have been a really good experience is being ruined. I would ideally like a call of the dealer principal to resolve this.
Got my mobility car here. Stafg have always been helpful and polite and answered any queries I've had. Happy 3yeats of dealings with them.
After paying a 99 reservation fee on Friday morning to test drive a car on Saturday midday, I was suprised to receive a phone call 1 hour in to my 2.5 hour journey to the Vauhall garage. The car was in the body shop undergoing minor front bumper and grille repair and wouldn't be available to view or test drive until Tuesday. I was confused as to why a car that was not available was uploaded to AutoTrader as available and why I was allowed to book a viewing with test drive with Evans Halshaw themselves if the car was not ready. After seeing many worrying reviews about problems getting the reservation fee back, I was pleasently surprised to see the money back in my bank when the garage advised it would be.
