Rude and lazy best avoided..Completely agree with other negative reviews. I walked in today to look at a BMW. Eventually a 'salesman' came over to talk to me, didn't know which car it was I wanted to look at but said he would find out and get the keys. I said I had spotted on the forecourt and would see him out there. He never arrived. I went back in and started the process again with another 'salesman' who eventually found the right keys.As he walked back to me he put the keys on another 'salesman's' desk pushed them towards him and presumably told him to show me the car he refused and pushed the keys back. This pushing back and forth of the keys went on for a while until the first salesman deigned to show me the car himself. Incredibly rude and made me feel as if I was of no valued as a potential customer. As it happens, the car turned out to have a mouldy interior and looked poor but even if it was perfect I wouldn't buy it from them.Evans Halshaw best avoided . Rude and zero customer relation knowledge. All this at a time when they should be glad to have customers.Probably prefer being furloughed .

Khalid helped me with a car I'd seen online, had a test drive and it was mine the next day. Really helpful and knowledgeable.
Wish we would had read their embarrassing reviews before buying from them. Salesmen are lazy, cars are bad quality then they refuse to work with the customer to fix it. Customer service from this place is non existent and quite frankly, completely embarrassing. Never felt the need to leave a bad review for any company but this particular branch is a complete embarrassment to Evans Halshaw
Appalling customer service. No response to phone calls and emails sent over the past 4 weeks. Then today they are claiming neither my phone number or email address is working which I find very hard to believe?! Have had issues with my lifetime warranty despite having documents to show that it is active. Will not be returning and will be contacting trading standards today.
Twice I got cars from st albans Hatfield, I don't recommend to anyone as the staff is extremely rude and they lied to me sometimes. They are very unprofessional if for any reason you change your mind things could go all agents you and they don't help you. Just be careful
The used car I bought failed within days. One item of a kit of parts needed to update the car was on backorder with no quoted delivery date; the part being only available from Vauxhall Motors, A courtesy car was provided while the issue was resolved. Evans Halshaw made every effort to source the part, and when the part became available the update was completed readily. The Service Administrator Kerry, and the General Manager Andrew were particularly helpful.
A personal, professional practically perfect experience. Okay, so it's buying a car. Not what you call an exciting day out but necessary. We found the car online. It was competitively priced and upon inspection very clean and in good nick. The sales rep Mr Zarroug was immediately friendly, welcoming and professional. Our three young girls were given a hot chocolate, which made them feel like VIPs - a lovely touch. All terms were explained clearly and we didn't feel pressured into purchasing any extras on the spot. When we had to purchase our temporary insurance help was on hand and all was sorted very quickly. Would definitely use again. Thank you.
