Had a great time, beer is great, service was really great, thanks to Kane and Megan who took special care to make sure we were catered to.

The decor and atmosphere at Everards Brew Hall was lovely and the staff were very pleasant although our waitress seemed to disappear for long spells at a time. When the main course came we were a side order missing, this was put down to it apparently not going through on the system. No effort to get it put right was made, just an apology for missing it off and to tell us it won’t be on the bill. My teriyaki chicken skewers were still pink inside when I cut into them. The manager had a word with the chef and he said it’s chicken thigh, as if that makes it ok to still be pink and under cooked. I’d have thought the manager of a restaurant would have known that was not a good enough answer and pink chicken should never end up on a costumers plate. We had a table booked for 8pm which didn’t give them enough time to serve our starter and main and to take an order for deserts as they stopped doing food orders at 9pm. Our main course didn’t arrive till 9pm. If you like your sweets make sure you book plenty early enough in the evening to avoid disappointment. Hopefully things will improve over the coming weeks and this was just a one off bad experience in the opening week.
