A really informative journey learning about wilding a Capability Brown garden with some great sculptures and superb food. Not to mention amazing views across the Exe Estuary and out to sea (It made us want to wild our own small garden) the 100 year old yew in the church graveyard is beautiful

Amazing and unique , challenging and humbling. Also very inspiring with lots of ideas of how to connect and act upon the concept of rewilding.

Just a lovely experience. The care Philip has for the garden, the many artists, and the environment stands out. I need a walker and everyone went so out of their way to make me comfortable and made sure I could see as much of the work and garden as possible. The food was very good. The bakewell tart was delicious. A perfect socially distanced day and a place I will return to often.

I would not call it a sculpture park. A 're-wilding' park with various pieces of artists work would be a better description. There was no information about the artists / concepts to read. The introductory talk needed handouts to underpin the history, organisation, art and concept behind this park. It was left to the visitor to wander round with a poorly drawn map and we thought it was expensive. Luckily it was a nice day so lovely views but nowhere to shelter if the weather was poor.

Worth the visit. If you are interested in learning about the artist process and seeing conceptual as well as classical work in a place that is just beautiful and works hard not to be intimidating or treat the visitor badly this is the place to go. Just putting aside the rewilding work going on which is so important the garden and building is stunning. The art shown is fascinating. Among the many pieces here are some very conceptual hard works that aren't trying to please anyone and also some beautiful bronzes that show amazing skill and understanding of their materials. We loved it.

Wilding guided tour was an eyeopener. Amazing what they've achieved in 6 years. I thought the bio domes were incredibly clever, I can do wonderful smaller versions in my own garden. The little ones were entranced by the bugs and "butterfly beds". We were so lucky that we had a rain free day and the lunch was really good. They made a special meal for the kids and chocolate brownies which were a hit. They've even rewarded the gardens and the art continues the rewinding theme. Interesting clay sculptures. Giant cob obelisks. It was a fantastic day out.And we learned so much

We drive from Bristol as we wanted a day out but wanted to be sure we could practice social distancing. They take a lot of care to keep numbers very low so at no time did we worry about Covid. Such a practical take on rewilding and the environmental art was fascinating. The tour was a great value. Our guide spent more then 3 hours explaining and showing all the aspects of both the art and the rewilded parkland. Small scale wilding is obviously a passion here from the garden to the wider park. I got lessons to take home and practice on my own. The lunch was delicious and the views are fantastic. A very pleasurable and safe place for us to visit.

Inspiring story and tour of a rewilded landscape. Missed the stay lambs. too early but fascinating to see the changes in the scrub and woodlands. So many birds throughout. I really enjoyed then history and how they got this going. Want to do it in my own garden now
