Took car in for service. Lady super helpful on reception. Excellent measures in place for social distancing. Tad expensive but very thoughtful, thorough and friendly. Good for the stamp on the book.

Very soon after my car returned from its MOT, the temperature warning light came on. I called out the AA who quickly diagnosed a leaking water pump. I immediately booked the car back into Eden for a thorough check and repair. A technician allegedly conducted a diagnostic check, advising me that there was definitely no leak. In fact, the water pump was apparently fine and the audible squealing noise coming from it supposedly normal for this car and engine type. Unfortunately, less than ten minutes after leaving the garage the car was still visibly leaking coolant. Evidently the technician conducting the “diagnostic check” was either negligent or is incompetent. Neither are desirable traits. I’ve now been left with a car that the AA advised as being unsafe to drive. Perhaps more concerning is that both “coolant” and “coolant strength” were assessed as part of the MOT...or were they?
