So happy that I found this place. I took my damaged 27 year old engagement ring into a jewellers in Exeter and was quoted 1633 to repair it! When I took it into Johanna at Monty's Beads she was so knowledgeable and obviously skilled as she proposed another way around the issue. It wasn't an easy job but the end result was amazing at a very small fraction of the cost quoted by the other shop. This place is a absolute gem and Johanna's skills are amazing. Very happy indeed, thank you so much.

We had a great experience in Monty beads last month. We went for a whole day experience in there and the instructor Johanna was amazing! She was super knowledgeable and professional, we ended really happy with the jewels we made with her guidance and wouldn't hesitate to go back there again! 100%recommended! They also adhered to the covid guidelines perfectly so the whole experience was safe for everyone.

An absolute gem of a bead shop, always stocked with beautiful quality gemstone strands, stones, findings and everything you need to make your own gorgeous jewellery. There’s a fantastic worshop so you can take a course in silversmithing, beading or even silver clay to learn how to set and string your own gemstones! They also repair broken jewellery and can breathe life back into much loved pieces. Well worth a visit and I can pretty much guarantee once you’ve been you’ll go back or track them down at a bead or rock & gem show!
