Excellent service , they have looked after my boat with Yamaha engines for several years now. The Senior engineer Joel has always given honest feedback on a variety of issues and excellent technical support and problem solving . The manager Mark has also been very helpful with planning in services and I would highly recommend these to anyone who wants an efficient and trustworthy boat service.

I took an marine gearbox requiring attention to Trout's to see if they were able do the work required. After examining the unit, Joel (their senior engineer) advised me that the difficulty of the job meant that the potential cost could result in disproportionately high bill, but was able to provide me with information where the specialist parts might be obtained to do what was needed. What a refreshing change for a business to offer helpful advice rather than take on a job which would probably have been an uneconomical repair for me. 10/10 for honesty and helpfulness.

Replacement mooring riser. We needed a new riser put on a mooring in the Exe. Very professional, with a fair estimate and the work was done quickly and efficiently with the correct equipment. The final price was within the original quote. Overall a very good piece of work. Highly recommended.
