I bought travel insurance for my mom coming from outside the uk online . They seemed like a really good travel insurance policy at the time, I didn’t get asked any questions whatsoever. I read they don’t pay out for an existing condition. Once my mom went to the hospital on an emergency in the Uk . They asked about medication she takes and once they found out she takes blood pressure medication they refused to pay or do anything to help my mom ended up with 4 thousand pounds bill with the hospital just for a angiogram and 5 stay in the hospital . I had to take my 2 kids of school and take her back to do it at home . It was so stressful I wouldn’t wish it to anyone . Plz before u buy any insurance make sure u ask about any medication or what’s insured as they don’t tell u . All they want is the money and they can do whatever they want if u want to claim, I don’t recommend this company trust me from an experience.

Fingers crossed I will never have to claim on my policy with Expatriate Healthcare but I must say the online process to get my healthcare sorted was very easy. I did have to call their helpline a couple of times during the process, more for my peace of mind than anything. I didn’t have to wait for ages for my call to be handled and the staff I spoke to were very friendly and helpful.
I had never purchased insurance online before besides for my moped so I was nervous when finding healthcare cover for my few months travelling. The Expat website is easy to use and my budget covered the policy I needed. Really happy and my friends have used them too.
I couldn’t be happier with the service I have received over the years from Expatriate Healthcare. I have used their travel insurance policy continuously for the past three years as I travel for work constantly and renewal is extremely easy every year. Even during a stressful time on holiday with my family when I needed to use my travel insurance for a hospital visit, it was as simple as calling their Emergency Number and the team helped me from there on in, couldn’t have asked for a better experience given the circumstances.
