This is my favourite cove in this part of Devon. It's rarely busy as most tourists stay on the main beach. It's great for swimming, gets little wind, there is shade by the cliffs if its too hot. Great rock pools for the kids when the tides out and you can walk round the cliff. Such a beautiful and safe cove

A pretty little place although only accessible at certain tides as the water can completely engulf the Cove on spring highs. If you don't mind the smell of crab from the adjacent crab factory it can be a good little stop for rock pool discoveries at low tide. You can also access/walk around to Roundham head at the right times but always take the time to do your research as far as tide times and heights are concerned as the ocean takes no prisoners.Often very quiet which is always nice although summer holiday evenings teenagers will congregate here for a drink or 3 so unless your up for a bottle of white cider , crying girls and spoken profanities it's worth leaving this place alone during warm evenings during the school holidays.

Beautiful little beach when the tide is out. Doesn't get full sun all day so it's nice for the cool shade and views across the bay.

This place is beautiful. Great space to come and watch the sea. Beautiful water. Clean beach. There are two stair cases to access the beach. They are both steep and can be wet following high tide. There is no step free access, but in many ways that adds to the charm or this little cove. I took my dog to run around here and he really enjoyed it.

A real surprise to find this tiny cove hidden away, right next to the Paignton sea front. Deserted when we were there but it was December, bitterly cold and raining so no surprise there. Lovely sand but giving way to mossy rock's as it went into the sea so may not be good for swimming. Nice place to lay on soft sand and read a book in better weather.

Nice, quiet place to go if you want to be alone for a while, quite populated in summer but otherwise its perfect
