What a nice place! Lovely staff! I took my 3.5yr old son for his first boat ride as my father did when I was young and it was a very similar experience. Charming length of the river and you now have the option to go a bit further if you ask. Will certainly go back

We just spent the last week or so on the River wey and River Thames on one of their narrowboats and had a truly memorable experience. The crew couldn't be more helpful. Everything was clean and sanitised. Me my husband 3 kids (7, 10 and 12) and 2 dogs had a fab time. A few little hiccups along the way but Russell and his team couldn't have done anymore to assist straight away if they tried. Always on the other end of the phone (or in person) to ensure smooth sailing !!! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this family run company to anyone. Very professional and friendly. We had an amazing time. We took out the Norseman which was very appropriate as my family history dates back to viking sooth sayers (family name is Sayers). It was my dads 80th birthday surprise and he loved it very much. The people at Farncombe Boat House were wonderfully accommodating and so very lovely to us. Nothing was too much trouble. Great fun! I've been on the river plenty of times, but never on a narrow boat. We hired a day boat (Roman) and it was clean throughout with all the ammendities to ensure we had a nice day. Garry gave a helpful introduction to the boat, including how to operate. I recommend this, it's a lovely stretch of river too.
