Mr Lindfield performed YAG surgery (follow up to cataract surgery) on both my eyes, on separate occasions, for medical reasons. He has come up with astonishing results - in one eye I went from barely identifying the single letter on the top line of the eyesight chart to being able to correctly identify all but one of the letters on the bottom line of the chart, in the other eye I could identify half the letters on the bottom line. He quickly gauged my level of medical understanding and explained things lucidly. What's not to like!

I was diagnosed with cataracts about a year ago. After having had intra-ocular lenses put in by Dan Lindfield it's as if the whole world has been upgraded to 4K. My distance vision is perfect (like looking through high quality binoculars) and my reading vision - with reading glasses - is also excellent. My significant astigmatism has completely gone. Since the eyes were done one at a time, I was also able to compare colour perception, and now realize that everything had been 2-3 shades yellower due to the cataracts. The service was faultless and the operations involved only the mildest of discomfort. Each eye was 'up and running' the following day. I now regard cataracts as one of the best things that has ever happened to me! It's also worth saying that - for some patients - these lenses are now an option instead of having your eyes 'lasered', even if you don't have cataracts. Nothing in medicine is totally guaranteed, but - knowing what I know now - I would take this option even had I not had cataracts.
