This is the best.! I have been a patient for past 20 years virtually continual, therefore I should know. From the receptionists to every grade of nursing staff...I have never found any member to be anything other than friendly professional persons. I have seen them treat all kinds of patients....and even downright rude and abusive patients....but still give their best. We all may be, not so pleasant, ourselves when in pain, I should know as on continuous morphine, but the staff still give 5 star treatment/service. Keep it up. Love you all.

A very poor hospital with medically untrained healthcare assistants and a few ill-trained nurses in charge. My father was taken off all his pain meds whilst he was supposed to be convalescing there resulting in his rehab programme being abandoned due to his renewed discomfort. The hospital's policy of not allowing rails on the beds meant that my poor father fell out of bed twice resulting in trips to A&E at Ipswich hospital in the middle of the night. In the end my father died of Sepsis whilst staying at Fx hospital as the NHS healthcare assistants on duty seemed unconcerned by the rapid and marked deterioration in my father's health, failing to recognise that my father was displaying all of the classic symptoms of Sepsis. I even alerted the staff to blemishes that were suddenly developing on my father's head, which I now know were Sepsis 'red flags' and should have been picked up immediately by medically trained staff. I only wish I'd known more about Sepsis at the time as I would have called an ambulance myself insisting my father be taken to A&E at Ipswich hospital for urgent treatment. Instead I was ordered out of the hospital when the healthcare assistants were locking up for the evening and my father was left to suffer and die shortly afterwards. My mistake was to put my trust in the staff looking after my father at Fx hospital and this is something I will always regret. Whatever you do, don't send your loved ones there to convalesce. If nothing else, the staff on duty need to be aware of the symptoms of Sepsis, a deadly disease, which requires urgent medical attention.

Handy to have but must admit I am a stickler for not bothering doctors and nurses unless it is strictly necessary as they have enough to do with the Moaners and groaners of this world who can't go more than a week without bothering the staff there.... I on the other hand can't even remember last time I was here!! Please click on the like button if this proves helpful to yourself, thanks

Rude reception staff . Wouldn't advise a walk in without an appointment from 111 although it states they deal with minor injuries, doesn't appear that they deal with anything they don't have to and would rather send people out of the way to Ipswich hospital instead. Nurses have always been lovely anytime i have visited in the past however.
