Lovely setting and well cared for animals. Nice play areas. Haven't given 5 stars as feel the food in the cafe could be improved, kids boxes were expensive for what they contained.

Very relaxing morning walking round, seeing the animals, and little grandson enjoying play park. Thank you. We'll come again soon.

Lovely place to spend an hour or too. The animals are very well cared for and toasties in the cafe are excellent!

Rehomed a horse from Ferne. Staff are lovely, process was simple yet thorough, good viewing and vetting of both horse and owner without feeling intrusive or judgemental. Horse was exactly what I was looking for, as described and well cared for at Fern. She is my dream horse \u003c3

Really enjoyed visiting and completing the bats and cats Halloween trail with children. Cafe serves lovely coffee and lunches. Nice place to get out for a walk and some fresh air

We adopted our gorgeous Greyhound from Ferns. They were brilliant from start to finish. They really care about their animals and follow up care is great too.

Although a sanctaury ans happy to contribute to entry fee to support the welfare of the animals I can honestly say there were hardly any to view apart from the odd guinea pig, a couple of rabbits, the odd duck, two cats and two quarantined horses. It was a very disappointing trip and we felt that perhaps on entry we should have been advised that not many animals are at the sanctuary at this current time. My thoughts are that a donation on exit would be more appropriate rather than wntry fee as let's face it the general public come to see the animals. If we have children with us they would have been very disappointed and bored. The cause is a worthwhile one but not worth a visit.
