I have refrained from commenting on any social media platforms after my weeks stay here at the beginning of August 2020, but after a 2 months ongoing battle with Scarborough council, and getting a kick in the teeth with an insulting offer of a free 2 nights stay at a place that I wouldn't go back to, I feel like they think if they do this I'll stay quiet well this not going to be the case!! To open a council run site after having over 3 months to deep clean in a PANDEMIC with no cleaning to show for it is an utter disgrace!! The state of the shower blocks were to be frank were absolutely disgusting and as have stated would not shower my dog in. I will try and attach some photos to this review. I feel I have been fobbed off with their feeble attempts to rectify this and after paying 34 a night is another kick in the teeth. I wouldn't of paid a penny which is why they insist on prepayment prior to booking. I have spent the last 2 months trying to get my money back. My advice would be to go anywhere other than here!!

Great place to stay! We were here for 3 days, tried to stay for longer but site was fully booked. Shower/toilet facilities were spotless, credit to the cleaners. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Just a short walk and you are into Filey Town centre for the buses into Bridlington or Scarborough or walk down to the sea front. There was a bit of noise from building work which starts at about 8am but you are warned about this. Overall our stay was great and would definitely stay again.
Love this place because it is within walking distance of everything. We come every year for a week because once you have parked up, you don't have to move your car again. Highly recommend!
Great camp site short walk to the beach and about 15 minute walk into town. Great spacious plots and clean facilities. Lovely cafe serving breakfast drinks coffees and snacks.. ice-cream.. definitely recommend.
Lovely caravan site with good facilities. The camp shop and cafe are really nice too and would highly recommend the home made cakes. Can get quite busy in nice weather, not just in high season. The site is very conveniently located with easy access to the beach, cobble landing and Filey town itself.
