My wife and I stayed in the summer. We loved the cottage and have absolutely nothing negative to say about it. We very much hope to return if we can this coming year.

Great location, right on the bay with uninterrupted views, cottage a bit dated, could do with being renovated, still clean and tidy.

The positives: very conveniently located in a beautiful part of Scotland, 10 seconds walk from the lovely waterfront, 2 min from the two local pubs, both serving good food and 4 min from the shop and cafe. A nice sheltered courtyard garden to sit out in with a friendly cat as a bonus. Lots of good hot running water. The negatives: the cottage was damp and the interior furnishings and decor was very dated and showed significant signs of wear and tear. The shower drain was blocked with many remenants of previous users. Much of the kitchen equipment was very worn and there wasn't a single teaspoon. No guest information provided, most holiday lets aim to make your stay easy and enjoyable with a bit of instruction and local info.
