“THE BEST BIRTHDAY PARTY EVER!” -Mason Brown age 10 The boys 10th birthday was held at the newly opened Chimera VR (virtual reality gaming) located next to The Spice Merchant in Crookham Village and I have to say it exceeded expectations Well organised well staffed A great variety of games to choose from for kids and adults ... and did I mention it’s next door to a fantastic pub Great food options from pad Thai to the classic chicken nuggets , served up in our own area of the spice merchant with soft dink’s on tap , whilst the parents enjoyed a tipple or two The guys opted for a space station style “escape room” , had to work together as a team, (with a little guidance from the brilliant chimera team)to solve various puzzles and scenarios to escape the space station , before it blew up From the feedback we got from both parents and children a fantastic time was had by all and from the sounds of it they will have a few more party bookings coming their way which is great to see So if you are looking to book your kids birthday party and you want to keep the adults happy with drinks too , or just fancy a different and fun night out with a few drinks then I highly recommend you check them out Oh and our Thai takeaway from the pub was insanely good and saved us cooking when we got home It’s a five star review from me

The kids wanted something to do during half term, so we decided to give Chimera a spin.Wow! What fun! I had not experienced VR before, and I was completely blown away. The kids absolutely loved it, and the staff we really friendly and accommodating! We will definitely be back!

What an excelent venue. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful nothing seemed to be any trouble. I booked up to go with my 9 year old son who also enjoyed it very much. And for him to be impressed after playing xbox 24/7 it had to be good. I will be booking again in the near future and will also be booking up for part of our xmas works do. Well done to all the team at chimera vr. Thank you

Great experience and an even better place to be. The staff are incredible - i don't know how they found so many genuinely nice and enthusiastic people but they have! Super clean too, had no covid worries once I got there. Cannot recommend it enough!

Went here for the first time today. My son age 9 and daughter age 14 did the 60min VR experience. It was brilliant. Very clean , well-organised and friendly. My son is one of an expert in VR and has one at home but still enjoyed this experience, having more room and different games to sample. My daughter is a little less enthusiastic about things like this but was advised by the team to try the Westworld and to say she enjoyed it was an understatement. Highly recommended to anyone. Even adults. Also great for onlookers to watch as the games mirror on to the screens and give u the chance to be involved with the gamers in a lovely seating to relax in.
