Welcoming place, the Bothy is nice inside. We used it to have some hot drinks whilst waiting for the rain to calm down a bit. It was too late for food, sadly. They are applying proper social distancing rules.

Lovely wee restaurant,cosy, lovely food and lovely staff,very welcoming and chatty! I recommend the Cullen skink! Very tasty! Ps, social distancing/one way system in place, well thought out
Great food, great service, really great people serving. Great selection of whiskeys and food. Covid restrictions being politely enforced and adhered to. Nice toasty space to warm you up after a long day out.
AVOID, my review and comments can take a lot of space but to cut the long story short will mention just few things - unwelcoming atmosphere the moment you go in, RUDE and unfriendly waitresses who were in a hurry to finish their shift (even in macdonald's you get better attitude and if we didn't have our kids with us I would walk away immediately - their comments and look made me so angry), poor service, poor food! Me and my husband are working in the hospitality industry for a long time and we have been in many places but this one is THE WORST! I was thinking to safe my opinion for myself as I don't like to leave bad comments and I am aware the times we live in at the moment are tough for the sector but I couldn't leave this unnoticed. Big disappointment for this pretty little town.
Forgotten - AVOID - Went in, put our names down, and was told to wait outside 10-15mins for a table. Not a problem. We waited... and waited. After seeing 2 other couples get seated, despite us being ahead of them and the only ones waiting, it was clear... we weren’t welcome. Couldn’t even find anyone to ask if we were still being seen to. We were the only ones instructed to wait outside. So never got to try the food, that was 15mins wasted. Don’t go!!
