Nice area for a stop,car park closed, though layby across road,amazing views. picnic tables available, be even nicer if people didn't barbecue on the grass. Especially as picnic tables have metal plate fixed for barbecue
The tables have a bbq safe section which is great for cooking. You can also have a free pitch for your tent. It was a little windy when we went as it looks out over the water.
This is such a beautiful place, it's so peaceful, with picnic tables that has space for small BBQ. however not many places to park.
Outstanding location, beautiful views rather spoilt by the fact that the council in their wisdom have removed all the trash bins. Rubbish everywhere. Also closed many toilet facilities on NC500. one of the dumbest moves in recent years. Promote a holiday route. Close facilities. Clap clap.
