A great little museum We spent a great couple of hours at this lovely little museum today. Because of Covid we had to book a family slot. Lovely to have the place to ourselves. The museum has some interesting artefacts and is really well laid out. Loved the chance to knit our own tube/sock. But what makes museums like this special are the people, staff or volunteers whose enthusiasm and passion is wonderful to see. Sue Ablett

Lovely museum. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice tea shop serving drinks and small selection of cakes. Lots of knitted items in the garden. Fascinating insight to his my great grandparents lived and worked.

Great little museum and living piece of history in Nottingham. Took us around 1 hour to go through everything and we probably could have spent longer. Very interesting subject matter that I had no idea about even living in the area for 26 years. Would highly recommend this place. The staff and volunteers are all very friendly and informative.

A little gem of a museum providing an insight into social history of the time of industry surrounding knitting and hosiery. A fascinating glimpse of machine engineering and the hard struggles of workers of the period. A great way to spend an hour or two for the whole family.
