These guys are lovely. I don't know much about surfing but they were very patient, and spent loads of time explaining all of the basics of surf boards and which one would be best to have. They're also really great chat. Many thanks to Matt and Alex for all of their help! Cheers

I’d love to give a 5 star review because I’ve heard that this shop is pretty awesome. I ordered something from them online and had it shipped to the US. It’s been 3 weeks and it hasn’t shown up. I had it ordered plenty early for a trip and it hasn’t shown up. I can’t get an answer on where it’s at or even an alternative solution. I guess this order does not have a tracking number to check. Super bummed. Edit: I Have updated my review. I am now choosing to give a 4 star review and here is why. While what I have written above is true, The Freeze pro shop did everything they could to help me. We have no idea what has happened with this order but the freeze pro shop did cancel and refund my order. I appreciate companies like this that are willing to help you with something that is out of both parties control. I hope to order from them in the future. Thanks for the help.

Very knowledgeable and attentive staff. Got snowboard boots heat moulded to shape of feet. Have actually learnt more about foot shape and stance in 20 mins with these guys than I ever knew before. Plus great selection of kit to look at. Interesting background music choices.. P

I first visited Freeze when they were having their Black Friday sale at the end of November 2019. I had a ski trip to Canada coming up so was keen to buy some new ski boots and wanted to take advantage of the excellent deals they had on offer. I was approached by Laurence when I arrived and I explained to him what I was looking for. Laurence was really attentive and asked all the right questions in order for him to gauge which boots would be the best for me. Ended up going for a pair of Full Tilts which proved to be perfect! I then proceeded to pick out a some goggles and a helmet. The helmet I was looking to buy had just been sold to someone else online. So the guys at Freeze upgraded me to a better helmet, and only charged me the cost of the cheaper helmet - really great service. Now for the best part - I bought some skis from another store online and the bindings were mounted incorrectly (one was further forward than the other and they were too far apart). It was less than two weeks before I was due to leave for Canada, so I felt I was unable to return them in time. I messaged Freeze explaining the situation and got a swift response from Amy advising that I should bring them along to the shop so the guys could have a look at them. I took them along, dropped them off, and picked them up a few days later - perfectly mounted, a really clean job. To my surprise, the guys at Freeze remounted the bindings free of charge - even though they were correcting another store's mistake! I've got nothing but positive words to say about Freeze and their staff - you've secured a customer for life.

Have been shopping at Freeze for years. Really prefer to support local shops like this where I can even if it is just a new pair of trainers or a tee, plus they stock so much rad stuff and almost always have some kind of sale on. I had an issue on a purchase I made once and they literally went above and beyond to rectify it and to be honest I felt terrible because the item I bought wasn't even their own brand, I felt like why should they reimburse me when it's not their fault but they did and they were SO helpful! Also, I'm unsure of his name but almost every time I go in there's a guy working there and he always remembers me. I've lived between Edinburgh and Cornwall for a few years so I'm not even around very often but he always remembers, he wears a cap/passenger sweaters :) it's just small things like that which make people feel good and want to support these business's too.

Fantastic shop with excellent shipping to the US. I purchased a bodyboard at an excellent price and had it shipped to the west coast of the united states. It arrived in perfect shape due to the excellent packing. Vaila went out of her way to make sure I knew exactly what was going on with my purchase which I really appreciated.
