We approached Garage Door & Automation in Newton Abbot (James and Steve) in respect of supplying and fitting automated wooden gates to our drive. We also requested that the gates were manufactured from Accoya which is not one of their standard supply materials. James and Steve could not have been more helpful, after we had decided on the design Steve arranged the site survey and submitted dimensioned drawings for our approval together with the price for manufacture, automation and fitting. We were told exactly what power supply, isolation switches and cable we had to provide to the gate location for the automation. We viewed the gates in the workshop before they were brought to site to make sure we were happy. All site visits took place on the specified dates and the installation team knew exactly what they were doing. The work was completed on time, for the agreed price and the kit works faultlessly.

Can recommend this firm as being professional and knowledgable . James gave good initial advice on pros and cons of roller v sectional . Chose latter tailored to fit after sales guy measured on site . Fitting done efficiently and quickly once door arrived from manufacturer. Minor adjustments carried out within a few days . Delighted with end result and I’d be confident that any subsequent servicing or maintenance would be just as professional .

The team are supremely helpful and friendly, even when we asked them to install a motor that they had not supplied they did a brilliant job in sorting out all sorts of issues. About 9 months later we had some issues with the gate that were nothing to do with them but they still came up with ways to fix the issue. If we had more gates I would have them install them every time! When we finally get round to sorting out our garage door, they will be the only people we talk to. Superb service and great quality workmanship.

Service here is dreadful. We had them look at an electric door were told they couldnt fix it because it needed a new part. We were told they would order it and let us know how much and when they could fit it. That was about 6 weeks ago we still havent got a door that works and they sent us a bill for 102 for the privilege.
