Views from the dam either east to Ben Wyvis or west to AnTeallach are great . The dam is just part of a network that has been generating hydro electricity since the 1950s. Below the dam lies the Aultguish Inn, well known to climbers who come to the area where there are so many beautiful and interesting mountains.
