Unlike it's name, No1 lounge fails in many sort of ways. I visited during a morning in November 2018. Buffet for breakfast is really weak. Croissants must have been one of the worst I've tasted. The small cakes are nice though for a change. Biggest failure is the fact that you have to order. There are 4 options for breakfast : bacon roll, beans on toast, vegarable pot and toast and preserves. I ordered toasted bread which arrived 35 minutes after, cold of course. Knives were dirty as well. (See photo below) Staff are trying to be kind. Totally disappointing.

Hey Wanderers

Not impressed at all after being told 3 times to come back at different times, not being able to reserve. The staff turns us down 3 times. At the end after 1 hour and 15 min. We were told we have to pay 20. Again, no issues paying if the service is good, we ordered and took way too long, that we had to eat quick to leave. Internet connection wasn’t bad, would I come back here? Probably not, there are better options out there especially if you are going to pay. We are being generous with 2 stars. The staff and servers are super helpful tho. I hope the feedback is taken and the place is more organized for people who are paying an arm and leg to get these travel perks..cheers

Good quality but limited to one food dish per person. When you enter the lounge you receive a menu and once you order food they collect the menu from you like a token. No menu no food. They do have a salad, soup and dessert buffet table with 3 salad types, olives, nuts, 2 types of dessert (brownie and raspberry marzipan cake - both very delicious) no bread for the soup sadly. Bubbles is bottomless, and so are all other drinks. I ordered the cheese platter which had 3 cheese types, chutney and 5 crackers. It was good but not enough for a meal. So I had to fill up on cake and bubbles. Overall enjoyable.

No 1 Lounge Gatwick South First the bad which is just the restriction on how many people can be in the lounge at one time, we care and did see free seating and places available but was told they were fully booked. I think there is a block on travellers who have free lounge access as this has happened twice. It’s more the rudeness of staff that’s the problem but this time we got in with a friendly smile. Now for the good, the lounge is very roomy with great views of runway and planes making it a nice environment to relax in. There is multiple seating around with a few private areas, a sports lounge and quite area. Seats do have plug sockets around but this is limited. The bar has a wide range of alcoholic and soft drinks available with some premium drinks. On entry you have a menu so you can order one free meal which is small but plenty, there is a small area which fruit, nuts, soups and cakes on plus soft drink areas like coke, sprit, orange juice and other juices or coffee. Toilets are very clean and eat area had its own wash sink and dryer. This is a mid level lounge as some of the others I’ve been too offer a little more. Shame about the restricted entry but I won’t let that affect the rating So five stars due to the facilities and atmosphere.

This lounge was cute, not the best I’ve been to but it was cosy and not too busy, perfectly covid-safe. The staff were very friendly and attentive, they were doing tableservice in line with covid regulations however, it didn’t make sense why they make people go to get their own hot drinks and soft drinks but everything else was table service? Surely that defeats the purpose? BA lounge provided a better service in that regard. The breakfast was lovely and they offered a good choice between things. We took the continental breakfast which was nice. All other lounges that I have experienced usually provide passengers/customers with bottled water to take with them but No1 didn’t have that. It’s small things that go a long, overall it’s a nice lounge if you just want somewhere to relax and have some refreshments away from the hustle and bustle of the airport.

A nice lounge available with Priority Pass, book in advance if you are going to go for morning flights as it gets really busy. The have two food offerings, a breakfast until 11 and an all day offering in addition to this there are cookies and nibbles. There is also a full bar, the only charged for item is champagne. Get a table and order at the bar. Enjoy the view over the airport from the window tables

Great simple lounge. I don’t really have any complaints about this lounge. If you pay at the door however it may not be worth the price make sure you are part of some scheme such as LoungeKey as we were which allowed us access for 15 at the time, which we thought was quite worth it (was 2 of us). You can also guarantee entry to the lounge as they may turn you away if it is busy and you have not reserved a place. When you do this it includes access to fast track security, which is also a big plus if you are travelling at a busy time of day. In my case normal security was quiet anyway and the lounge wasn’t busy so it wasn’t really worth reserving a place, but we did anyway just in case. We visited early august and around 7am. The lounge itself it tidy and a good size. The staff are really nice. You do get to order one item from the menu which is included in the entry fee which is quite far, drinks and other snacks are however unlimited. Also newspapers are complimentary. For Gatwick south terminal i would say this is the best choice of lounge, it is great overall, however if it does get busy then i cant see the experience being quite as good.

Free meal; Unlimited coffee, soda, and water; Ample seating; Complete views of the runways; Library, bar, sports lounge; Very private and well kept bathrooms. I'm impressed.
