Seemed very genuine guys who would much rather sit around talking about bikes with you than actually sell you one. A completely difference experience to main dealers (a shed down a farm track) but the zx12r i got from them has no hidden problems they didn't tell me about and the price was the same as I'd pay buying private. Should be more like this.

Very happy with my Bandit 1200 purchase. Rode it home to York from Preston no problems at all. Callum was honest , very professional and helpful. Got it at a good price with great service. Cheers
Good quality bikes, good service. Very reasonable on the prices too. Always bringing in new stock.
Bought a scooter off them few months ago. Callum said it's a great little learner. It's been sat in the shed ever since. I've had it running every other day. Now needs new exhaust and it's got a fuel leak. It's not gone anywhere or done anything. Stay as far away from them as you can!!
Bought a Peugeot scooter from them 4 months ago and so far it has been excellent - it needed front tyre resealed as it had been left for a long time but Callum did inform me of this and it was 20 to fix. Can't complain with condition of bike as it is 10 years old and everything is working fine.
I have just purchased a ThunderAce via Callum at G&C Motorcycles and am full of praise in the dealings I had. I understand that G&C is run by Callum & Tony and they are bikers themselves. Being around 250 miles away was a challenge but one which was easily overcome particularly as Callum delivered the bike to me on Good Friday, as I was wanting it before Easter. I am pleased to say that having read other good online reviews beforehand, I can confirm they definitely offer an excellent service and I recommend them highly.
Bought a V-reg Suzuki SV650 from here in March 2016. Money tight and needed some budget transport at short notice (replacing a Honda Vision which wasn't up to odd trip from Oban to Middlesbrough -284 miles - took me 9 hours!). Searching Autotrader, noticed that they had a few bikes in my price range so took a gamble and got train down from Oban. Really nice guys - had offer of lift from station - but fancied the walk...premises aren't the most obvious from the road - look for gap in hedge! You read a lot in reviews & magazines about surly attitudes of folk in the motorbike trade & I've had the same experience, but not here. After a natter and a fight over phone to get insurance sorted (no fault of G&C!), I was on my way. As I left , I was warned to watch for the mud on the way out & told to text Callum when I got home. I like to think this is just because they're a decent set of chaps (Callum even popped me extra petrol in my tank), and not that I looked like I should have stabilizers on/dodgy clutch technique/whatever? It was like buying a bike from my mum. Only my mum isn't a bloke. She doesn't really like motorbikes either. Anyway, made it back to Oban in one piece and thrilled with my purchase. If you see something you like here...go for it, you only live once & you won't get gurned at....what more do you want?
Bought a GSXR 750t srad from these guys, very nice to deal with no messing about cant fault them really. Bike did cut out half way home but its no biggy just battery was buggered thats all, bound to be for a bike thats not run all the time, new battery and new reg/rec to make sure bikes sweet as a nut. Will be going to see these guys for a brew in the future. cheers
