Ian Baird

I first required the services of Ian some 15 years ago when a Seat main dealer couldn't resolve a gearbox noise on a 3 year old Seat Ibiza that I'd owned from new. Ian actually knew what the issue would be before he'd even seen the gearbox, and went on to repair it. So when I recently bought a 2002 Mini with a \dodgy gearbox\ it goes without saying I headed straight to Ian. Brilliant service. Stripped the gearbox whilst I waited and diagnosed the two bearings that needed replacing. I could have had the gearbox back within 2 hours but unfortunately I had prior commitments and couldn't wait. Can't recommend highly enough. Use Ian if you want a highly experienced professional, who will treat your gearbox as if it were his own. Straight talking, nice guy, no nonsense and correctly priced. Thanks Ian.
