I had been trying to teach myself German for a while with little success before I decided to have lessons with Sara, and I have made excellent progress since! Her lessons are adapted to the needs of the student ensuring you make progress at your own pace. She provides well structured lessons with good resources. Sara also encourages lots of conversational German during the lessons which is a great way to learn and build confidence. I would highly recommend her as a tutor for people of any age!

I am an adult learner having tried night classes and self learning over the years, but really wanting to improve my knowledge and confidence in German. Sara soon assessed my skill level and learning priorities and has encouraged me to finally moved forward with mastering the German language. Sara has been helping me with my German GCSE. I think she is very friendly and creates a comfortable environment to learn in. She is extremely patient and encourages me to speak in German when possible which builds up my confidence. Sara has been helping me prepare for my German GCSE. She is very friendly and welcoming and has helped me a lot with my pronunciation and sentence structure. I really like the resources we use in lessons as they are more useful compared to ones i previously found on the internet.she structures lessons very well and is very good at adapting the lessons focus if you want to prepare for an assessment or focus on a specific topic. Sara is very patient when i can't remember a specific word or sentence order but i have noticed a significant increase in my understanding and the grades i achieve at school.
Sara is an engaging, passionate and patient tutor. She places great emphasis on speaking as little English as possible in each lesson. This approach has meant that my confidence in speaking has significantly improved and it is a real positive to have a conversation with a native speaker. Sara is good at tailoring lessons according to the need of the learner and provides appropriate material to work from home. I recommend Sara highly for students of all levels.
