Thorpe House School must be the best school in the whole country in my opinion! Academic attainment is excellent but most importantly it provides an extremely caring and nurturing environment that feels more like a family than a school. The teachers at this school are what set it apart from all other schools. They are simply incredible and you could not wish for anything more. They genuinely care about their students and work very hard to help them succeed. Mr Ayres is doing an excellent job as headmaster too. Anyone who goes or has been to Thorpe is very lucky to have experienced education at its best! I will certainly cherish my memories of my time at Thorpe for the rest of my life! I whole heartedly recommend Thorpe House to any parent who wants the best for their son.

Such a shame to read negative comments about Thorpe. Our son is thriving at the school and we only have positive things to say about the teachers, boys and Headmaster. Keep doing what you are doing! The boys are happy and achieving brilliantly!!

I'm surprised there aren't more negative reviews on here. Since the new Headteacher started, this school has gone downhill. We managed to move both our DS to other schools and others are leaving. Communication is really poor now, pupils behaviour has deteriorated and the senior team have become defensive and beyond reproach. A real shame as under Mr Locke, he kept an open door policy. This Headmasters is firmly shut!
