Just have the delivery this morning, however, it was a very bad experience. The garden shed is a big and heavy item, the courier only sent it with one old driver, he did not manage to unload it from the lorry and asked me for help. Only with the help of me and my neighbour, we managed to unload it and put it in the garden. It took us 30 minutes for that. Due to health and safety, it was really unfair to your customer and the delivery driver. The packaging and some contents were damaged. I have contacted ‘Gibbs Transport’, the courier, and voice out the facts to them. Their reply was that the sender only paid for one man delivery of the item, because it was not paid enough, so they just sent it with one man. The answer was totally unacceptable. With just a bit of common scene, they should go back to the sender for the fact and not just let it be, as they are the one who handle the delivery. I don’t think any sender would say no to the correct charges. ‘Gibbs Transport’ is just irresponsible! Yes, I can decline to accept the item as not expected to do heavy lifting for the delivery. However, considering that the poor driver with a full lorry load, he might get stuck for other deliveries as the shed was on top of other items. Rejecting it might cause more damages.

have had a few deliveries from Gibbs and the driver is always helpful. They do have to work to a certain set of rules but all the drivers that have delivered to me have been helpful and will usually do what they can to help. The vehicle's are always clean and tidy and the driver well turned out in his uniform. Would highly recommend them and would certainly use again
