I finally got around to booking my birthday present and going out for a lesson onboard the R22 with Henry. I won't go into all the fine details, but all I will say is that from the first phone call to Keith to book it, all the way to saying a very friendly cheerio to Henry at the end, you are in the safest of hands. Make no mistake, this is a tremendous experience. 'Taxiing' just a few feet above the grass to the runaway is simply surreal. Hovering whilst awaiting clearance from the tower to take-off is unbelievable. Having the machine launch from hover along the runway gaining height as you go is phenomenal. Once 'up' the flight experience is totally unique - I'd never flown in a helicopter before so it was beyond thrilling. It was also terrifying - but in a good way; you'd need to try it to understand that. I cannot thank Henry and Keith enough for making it a day to remember. Their professionalism, expertise and friendliness are a huge part of making this the great day it is. I highly recommend both the flight and Heli Air themselves. You will not be disappointed. A really fun and exciting experience. Keith and Charlie were really friendly and welcoming and made me feel at ease. Would strongly recommend this place to anyone thinking to doing a helicopter test flight or buying a gift voucher for someone.

I had the pleasure of spending a few hours with the Heli Air team yesterday and I could not of had a better experience. The whole operation is slick, the helicopter was immaculate and our pilot Lloyd was ultra professional and informative and I felt very safe and comfortable at all times. If your are considering lessons or just looking for a helicopter experience them this is unquestionably the company to use. Can't wait to go back !

My 20mo old daughter is obsessed with "chopper now!" but is way too young to fly in one yet. I phoned to ask if we could see a helicopter flying. The Heli Air people were friendly and helpful, explaining when and where they were likely to be flying. When we went to the airport, we saw one taking off and a member of staff very kindly showed us a helicopter in the hanger. Great!

I booked a helicopter trip for my mums 90th birthday and it was fabulous!!! The first phone call was to Charlie, who was more than helpful and suggested that we land the helicopter at the River House restaurant at the end of the tour. There were relatives from Vancouver, Ireland and England, 14 of us altogether. We told mum that we were going for a drive for lunch and did not know how she would react. When we arrived at Heli Air and we told her she was very excited. Neil in the office was very charming when we all descended upon him and ate his sweets while we were waiting for Lloyd the pilot. The moment arrived and the guys were very gentle with mum as she is very frail and in no time the blades were turning and mum and her two sons and son in law were all giving the thumbs up. We all took video's as Lloyd turned the helicopter to face us. As the helicopter flew up we made our way to the restaurant. When it landed Mum said she felt like a celeb. and was raving so much about the flight that she did not want to get out. Lloyd was very informative throughout the flight and ensured that mum was comfortable and that everyone was enjoying themselves. When mum was out the helicopter she hugged Lloyd so hard that I thought she would not let him go. He arranged for us all to be around the copter and took family pictures for us. I would thoroughly recommend this to everyone as the whole experience was amazing and at 90 yr old, mum said that it was the best day of her life and wants to do it all again (look out Lloyd!!). A million thanks to all the guys for making her day.xxx
